Dear online daters:

Please do not be boring, bland, and colorless. Online dating is a chance for online marketing about yourself. I can not tell you how many times the subject of a first email: hi, Hey, Hi there, Hi, Hello, hey, and hello have popped into my in box. Do you think these really stand out to me and grab my attention?!?

My first email example comes from a user in Greek mythology. Let's just call him Constantinople to keep his identity secret. He must think that he's magical and golden because his mother was tricked by a Greek God to sleep with his mother to produce him.

Subject: hi
Message: HEy whats up?

Where did you learn your grammar? Did you skip high school? Hay is for horses and it certainly does not have two capitol letters and one lower case. Second, is your keyboard missing the apostrophe key? Maybe you were just too tired, drunk, or lazy to type it to make a good first impression on me. You snooze you loose and especially with that amazing subject that caught my eye.

Follow up email:
Just watching TV now about to head off to bed. So besides running....what do you like to do?

I see that you also did not learn about sentence fragments or run on sentences in high school. I'm also very excited that you are going to bed because I don't have to read anymore incorrect sentences from you for tonight. What do you like to do? I give you a few bonus points for actually using a ? but minus those points for the four periods in a row....
